About us,

Doug Smith's business began in 1979 as a Chrysler and Plymouth store located in Bountiful, Utah. In 1989 Doug opened a second Chrysler and Plymouth location with his brothers Brad and Frank in Orem. In 1992 Doug and his brothers opened a third location offering the Mazda brand in Provo. In 1997 with mixed emotions and in order to comply with the Chrysler Corporation's "Project 2000 plan", Doug relocated all of his dealerships into a brand new facility in American Fork. In the process completing the Chrysler brand portfolio by adding the Dodge, Jeep, and Eagle Brand's. Over the years the Doug Smith Autoplex has grown by becoming the exclusive location for Subaru, Kia and Suzuki in Utah County. Doug has now been serving the Wasatch front for over 33 years. We are proud to offer 7 brands all in one location, just off I-15 @ exit 278 in American fork, Utah.
